Our first community challenge is to develop a mission statement and vision statement for the Norton Middle School. Please contribute ideas as to what each of our statements should reflect. Once completed, please identify yourself as parent, student, retiree, taxpayer, etc when posting to the blog.<br /><br />Some helpful information:<br /><br /><strong>Mission Statement</strong>: A mission statement explains why our organization (school) exists and what it hopes to achieve in the future. Particular attention is focused on setting objectives and monitoring performance.<br /><br /><strong>Vision Statement: </strong>A vision statement outlines what the organization (school) "wants to be" based upon our collective belief system and values.
